Our Story.

Australian Spatial Analytics (ASA) is one of Australia’s largest and fastest-growing work-integrated social enterprises.

Since 2020, ASA has provided careers in the Geospatial and Engineering professions for over 150 young neurodivergent adults who may otherwise be unemployed. We create an inclusive workplace for neurodivergent young adults to undertake professional spatial data services.

ASA also helps solve Australia’s skills shortages and data sovereignty concerns by accessing an untapped pool of talented and motivated people who perform essential work that otherwise occurs offshore. We provide a supply chain workforce for our partner clients so they can deliver critical projects across Australia.

Our CEO, Geoffrey Smith, has always been passionate about reducing unemployment for young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a data analyst by trade, Geoff knows that technology can create work and wealth for disadvantaged communities. He also advocates that social enterprise is the vehicle to unlock neurodiverse talent pools for all organisations.

ASA is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 8 – Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all. Our goal is to upskill our people and provide careers within ASA or facilitate transitions to our partner clients, enabling their teams to harness neurodiverse strengths through support and training.
